The protein ladder is a three-color protein standard with 10 pre-stained proteins. The coloured reference bands are used as visual indicators for the process of SDS-PAGE and the efficiency of the transfer to membranes in the Western Blot. This marker is suitable for the precise identification of the molecular weight of most cellular proteins.
